Why does radio need my location?

Your position lets CruiserFM apply nearby distance rules and route live radio. In Friends mode, Safe Areas prevent your position from appearing on friends’ maps while radio remains available.

How do I unlock Friends Radio?

Any active radio-range or group-hosting subscription unlocks Friends Radio with accepted friends at any distance.

What happens to my existing subscription?

This update preserves your existing renewal price and billing period. Weekly radio plans stay weekly; switching to monthly requires your confirmation through Apple. Existing monthly subscribers keep their renewal price.

What changed in the hosting plans?

The current choices are Host 5, Host 15, Host 100 and Host 500. Host 15 now includes 10-mile nearby radio, including for existing active subscribers. Host 50 and Host 200 are no longer shown among the current plans, but existing active subscribers retain their hosting capacity, included radio and renewal price.

Who receives the one-week trial?

Apple determines eligibility. When offered, the 1-mile monthly radio plan is free for one week, then renews at £3.99 a month in the UK unless cancelled. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. Changing plans does not guarantee a new trial.

How do I restore a plan?

Open Plans, choose Restore Purchases and use the Apple ID that bought the subscription.

Why can’t I select a larger range?

The available range follows your active plan. Open Plans to compare the options.

How do Safe Areas work?

Create a named circle around a place on the Map page. Inside it, friend-facing location sharing stops automatically while your radio continues to work. You can hide the circle on your own map without disabling its protection.

How do I join a cruise?

Ask the host for the session code, then open Cruises and choose Join a Cruise.

How do I use CarPlay during a cruise?

Connect your iPhone to a compatible CarPlay vehicle and open CruiserFM. The cruise view shows the shared route and members, with positions on the map and a Cruise Order list. Use Settings for cruise and radio controls. Complete setup while parked and keep your attention on the road.

Why does CruiserFM ask about tracking?

CruiserFM uses TikTok to measure installs, app launches and return visits from its advertising. Apple’s tracking prompt controls whether you allow cross-app advertising tracking. Choosing Ask App Not to Track does not stop you using the app. Read the Privacy Policy for the information shared and your choices.

How do I change my tracking choice?

On your iPhone, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and change CruiserFM’s permission. Accepting the terms or Privacy Policy does not grant tracking permission.
